Ice cream shops in Trenčín Region

This is the most Italian-minded region in Slovakia: every shop makes gelato and fruit sorbets, and cooked cream ice cream is nowhere to be found.

The owners trained at the gelato university in Italy, and even shops in small towns — Dubnica nad Váhom, Nová Dubnica, Lehota pod Vtáčnikom — have a lab of their own. Ready-made pastes are refused: they clean the fruit, cook the caramel and roast the nuts. The shop by Bojnice castle is seasonal.
