Ice cream shops in Moravian-Silesian Region

Outside Ostrava, ice cream splits between town squares — Nový Jičín, Český Těšín, Karviná, Frýdek-Místek, Havířov, Opava, Bruntál — and the Beskydy, where a farm dairy above Čeladná and a kiosk on the road up are worth the trip.

Beskydy milk is the local signature; a whole Ostrava brand is built on it. House-made gelato dominates, joined by cream ice creams from family pastry shops with Balkan roots and soft serve along the cycle routes.
