Ice cream shops in Central Bohemian Region

The region has no single ice cream centre. Shops are scattered across the district towns and, surprisingly often, across villages where summer queues form — people drive a long way for a scoop.

Gelato and fruit sorbets dominate, though many of these places grew out of cafés and pastry shops that added ice cream to their cakes. Milk comes from nearby farms, and makers from here regularly compete in the Czech rounds of gelato festivals.
