Ice cream shops in South Bohemian Region

Outside České Budějovice, ice cream clusters on historic squares and at tourist spots — Český Krumlov, Lipno, the Šumava border, Jindřichův Hradec, Tábor, Písek and Prachatice.

Italian gelato sits side by side with soft serve that the pastry chefs churn themselves from fruit and cream. The south is dairy country too: one shop belongs to a dairy and makes ice cream from its own yoghurt. Several places open for the season only.
