Ice cream shops in Košice Region

Outside Košice and Michalovce, ice cream is tied to family names. The same family sells its cooked ice cream in Trebišov and in Sobrance; elsewhere the shop is a village legend that city people drive out to, with cyclists in the queue.

House-made cream ice cream outweighs gelato, and you can see the fruit in the sorbets. Rožňava has its shop on the main square; the villages near Košice offer a gelateria and a seasonal maker with vegan sorbets.
