Ice cream shops in Vysočina Region

Vysočina has no ice cream capital — the shops are spread among the district towns and almost always sit on the main square: Telč, Třebíč, Jihlava, Žďár nad Sázavou, Pelhřimov, Humpolec.

Many families brought the craft from Macedonia and Italy, work to recipes inherited from their grandfathers and churn a fresh batch each morning. Sorbet fruit comes from family farms up here, cream from local dairies; in summer, carts appear in the parks.
