Ice cream shops in Olomouc Region

Beyond Olomouc the region is farming country, and its ice cream follows: several makers are farms with their own dairy, churning milk from their own cows and goats into curd- or yoghurt-based ice cream, with sorbets made from whey. They open in the warm months only.

Prostějov, Přerov and Šumperk add gelaterias and pastry shops to that. Olomouc brands have opened branches out here, so the same Italian gelato turns up on the square in Prostějov.
